I have been holding back from posting about this because it may have been one of my #BigMathOff pitches, had I moved on.
I've got a day off both work and #BigMathOff admin, and the sun's finally come out.

Since I'm out of the #BigMathOff and not writing a new post for the competition, I decided to use my Sunday to design and cut some wooden tiles that could be assembled as Celtic knots. Here's what I came up with.
While other tournaments are finishing today, we're just finishing the #BigMathOff quarter-finals.
@Ayliean is our fourth semi-finalist, winning their match with 61% of the votes. We'll see them again in sem-final 2, starting on the 18th.

@stecks I read your thing for the #bigmathoff earlier today about breaking up pi into primes, and I thought: I wonder if it works better if the numbers you choose are allowed to be within 2 of a prime? Disappointingly, no, having checked it, so this is a pointless result, but… I liked the write up. Thank you for doing it :)
