"Bear," one of the exemplary hero characters of my latest book, by far the most astute dog I ever knew for working with <a href="https://mstdn.plus/tags/autistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>autistic</span></a> children, the most talented demo-dog I ever had, and the best four-footed teacher of staff trainers in a 30-yr career. His progeny are literally all over the globe now, working in service dog schools on every continent.
