Word is, you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven if you have tattoos. Which is fine with me, every description of the place is as dull and dreary as a dinner party with Calvinists, which could only be made more dreary by an appearance by Calvin himself. Oh, by the way, I have no tattoos, I made a promise to my mom. Still, not interested in basking in the light of some fake deity. Honestly, I expect death to provide, at the very least, some relief from boredom.

One finds more crime in societies that operate more off of shame.

This dovetails with the data showing that regions with higher expressions of christianity, have more domestic violence, child abuse, grooming, SA, & other harms.

I've often noted that the worldview inherent to christianity -- in which humans are seen as "naturally evil" and unerringly given to the questionable concept of "sin" from the moment of birth -- can help excuse even one's bad treatment of innocent people.

It's not wrong to not need to be "saved" or "chosen" by a god.

You don't need a god to follow good morals.

You don't need a god in order to live a good life.

Humans evolved to thrive when they have good connections with:

1.) Themselves (i.e., they come to know, understand and accept themselves as human beings);

2.) Their Environment (i.e., they spend time in, and, if they so choose, nurture and do a bit of tending in the natural landscape that they call home); and,➡️

It saddens me greatly that we atheists, on the whole, are respectful of religists beliefs in social and personal situations.
Unfortunately it is my experience that it almost never reciprocated.
It is the arrogance of religion and shows how deeply brainwashed devotees of it are.
