I helped a friend change the water and top up the food for his backyard chickens over the weekend. They were incredibly excited about the fresh food, swarming to the feeder - seemed like the perfect photo op for this week. #52frames #cramped #photography #nikon #d200
My photo entry for this week’s #52frames theme of “over or under exposed”

Through some combination of poor time management, a few days sick, and not being thrilled with any of the pictures last week, I somehow didn't get anything submitted by the deadline. But if I'd gotten my act together it probably would have been this one... On the plus side, it turns out correcting perspective is really easy in Darktable! #52frames #blue #photography #darktable

This is dolmen "D1", one of 52 prehistoric monuments in The Netherlands. These megalithic tombs were built by people of the Funnelbeaker culture, during the Neolithic period (New Stone Age) ca. 7.000–1.700 BCE.

Just a quick post on how I managed to meet the 52Frames Photo Challenge in 2024.
52Frames Week 42
Oh, Hi. It's hard to believe that I've been able to complete 42 weeks of the 52Frames Photo Challenge, but here we are. This week, I really wasn't sure of my submission.
I reached out to my mini-group, and they voted for the picture below. Their comments included that this one met the challenge better and was stronger in technical aspects: focus and centered subject.
This is a photo of the door mat just inside our garage entry door. I made this photo for this week's #52frames 'On the Ground' challenge. I decided to isolate a small stray leaf that happened to be sitting on this rug. I was excited about using my macro lens and bringing out the texture in the rug. I opened the door to our office just to the right of the frame to let in the afternoon light which was the only lighting in the shot.
