This is my first toot. It is even not a toot 長歌 (which I shall define later). I merely am testing here TeX for now:
@sakaefuchino The TeX looks wonderful when I read from mathstodon (if I read it on col.social, the TeX doesn't compile!)
The second version looks better in html, yes.
@andresvillaveces: The problem is when I cite the toot as embedded codes created by mathstodon, a part of texts in \mbox{} repeat outside the formula. See:
https://fuchino.ddo.jp/obanoyama.html#22.11.13(%E6%97%A500:48(JST))
@andresvillaveces,@christianp: Perhaps this is rather a problem of the latex-html conversion engine which might be independent of the system of mastodon (sorry for saying this without checking the source codes). But still this is strange since inside mathstodon the latex code creates a visual output which is more or less as expected. By the way I called a tw**t in tw***er consisting of exactly the number of symbols the word limit allows, a tw***er和歌. This toot is going to be my first mastodon長歌.
@andresvillaveces: Is col.social rasonable mastodon instance to join? I am thinking about further split personality of mine.
@andresvillaveces @sakaefuchino mathstodon.xyz has mathjax added on, other instances not; if you write latex code on another instance it will be rendered properly here
