@mathhombre Its basically as expected given when these recordings were done and the progression of American music in the 20th century. Also it's getting sadly harder to find big band/swing on the radio.
@mathhombre also you might like using a viz tool like tableau. It's much better for this type of analysis
@benleis never seen Tableau, that looks mighty powerful and pretty. Re: big band, switching to spotify has been a gold mine. We have one npr station with jazz in the evenings.
