After a hypervisor disk failure, my ISP has restored my web site from a backup dated Jan 7th. Emails may have been lost, some data lass is inevitable.
Remember folks, keep a local backup of anything you want to be certain of keeping.
I've mostly recovered everything from the intervening time, but work continues to verify everything is clean and consistent.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
(Note: this is me personally, not Mathstodon, the site is www.solipsys.co.uk)
@ColinTheMathmo ah, that's why it was down when I tried to look at it just before!
If you find anything odd looking, let me know. In the meantime, your thoughts, comments, and reaction to my latest bloggy thing would be welcome.
A Mastodon instance for maths people. The kind of people who make \(\pi z^2 \times a\) jokes.
