You know about those "over 40 words for snow" things?
Mexicans really do have, uh, a lot of words for "tortilla with food on it". You've heard of #tacos, but have you heard of tlacoyos, tlayudas, gorditas, chalupas, guacamayas, sopes, picaditas, chanclas, pellizcadas, huaraches, tostadas, memelas, salbutes, or panuchos?
And there's more I don't even know.

@rocx Oh, flautas! Had to look it up. Looks like it's the Tex-Mex name for what I call flautas.
I tried to exclude from my list the words for tortillas with food *in* them.
@loke I mean that Tex-Mex taquitos seem to be like central Mexican flautas.

Flautas are longer, but whether one or the other is done with a corn or flour tortilla, with a conical or cylindrical shape is subjective.

@federicomena I made another mistake, haha, guacamayas are actually a kind of torta.
But c'mon, tlacoyos and tlayudas are just thicker tortillas with extra food on them or in them or both. Like we say in our country, it's all the same donkey tossed around!
