@tom some day maybe I should write up how the conceptual model of git is simple once explained, even if the interface is so bad. "Using" git doesn't explain its structure.
@cwebber Git is never simple. Even after understanding its allegedly simple internal structure, you still run into weird things with how blobs really mean blobs, not just files.
@JordiGH Well... I don't really agree *entirely*. I think that understanding how git works under the hood reduces the number of gotchas a user encounters by a lot
