I #amwriting and #screenwriting and I'm having SO. MUCH. FUN! Turns out I love the screenplay format, because it's so rigidly structured and all dialogue. All of the action has to be described in its bare essentials because you should not be giving too much detail of what characters should do (interpretation is the actors' job) nor explain too much of the surroundings or how to show them (that's the director's job).
This leaves me with all the fun, none of the chore!
I hope I can keep this #screenwriting enthusiasm long enough to finish the job.
