So, how many of you knew that taxi is short for taximeter and cab is short for cabriolet and thus we might have all ridden a taximetered cabriolet at one point?

@michiel Not sure if serious, but I'm willing to accept this headcanon.

@JordiGH I'm a rare case... someone from an occult society I have studied on left critical documents in a taxi. It was at the turn of the century, so I encountered archaic language.
