Okay, so I guess getting out of bed was worth it after all.
I came to #Montreal's #ParcOlympique to watch a high-diving exhibition from the 17m platform. It was really cool! I learned that it's too risky to dive head-first in the water, so the divers after doing some twists and twirls, always dive feet-first. And that for some reason men can dive from a higher height than women? That was weird. I wonder why? Does it require more strength?
So it was kind of funny because after the pros were done diving, I felt like doing a few dives too. I went from the bleachers, into my swimsuit, and wen to the diving pool. I figured the event was over, so I did two crappy little dives while everyone was still waiting at the bleachers.
And then I hear them calling my name as I am coming from out of the pool! I was like, it's me, down here, I won! They were thinking, uhhhh, but I said, no, I swear, it's me, I was up there, but now I'm down here!
