except I'm not sure I find it dismaying. It is, after all, one answer to people's worries about the impending "singularity",

i.e. that human intelligence will always be relevant and the only "singularity" we have to worry about is the one in which we're drowning in the output of garbage algorithms.

Okay, maybe I'm indulging in a bit of here (his dialogue especially) but I suspect what the latest brands of are telling us about is a lot like what the cult of in the U.S. is telling us. Or maybe that's just U.S.
